Hi, I’m Felicia and I feel incredibly blessed that so many families and organizations trust me with the care of their aging adults. A little backstory on me… I have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and from my first rotation of Geriatric Home Health, I knew that this was the place for me.
As an assessing clinician, not only do I complete head to toe evaluations for my patients, but I also assess their home environments for modifications, review their medications, and coordinate care between their caregivers, near and far, as well as their physicians. After 14 years, I advanced my career even further and became a Certified Geriatric Care Manager.
Interested in knowing why? Listen, my colleagues and I do an amazing job providing skilled care in their homes, but keep in mind that services would only be covered by insurance but for so long. Therefore, whenever they reached their goals or their benefits ran out, those individuals would be discharged from our care.
Sounds great right? Actually, no. Not so much, as what I quickly noticed was that within weeks, many of our aging adults would stop their exercises, begin to forget their medications, become dehydrated, and their conditions would worsen resulting in rehospitalizations.
I live in FL, and most of my patients’ primary caregivers lived out of the area. During the Holidays, I could see the pain and frustration in their eyes. They would often express to me their guilt for wanting to care for their parents full time, or visit more frequently, while also being tasked with needing to work, raise children, or manage businesses in their hometown.
I was NOT ok with this, so I decided to create a solution. I began to step up and become a care manager for families. I am their eyes and ears and in most cases an additional family member. I ensure that Mom and Dad are compliant with their medication and nutrition regimens. I coordinate additional services based upon their clinical and functional needs. I also work alongside Elder Care Attorneys and Fiduciaries.
I would love to help you too. I know that although you’re busy, your heart is ALL there. Let us do the grunt work for you. Even if you’re not in our immediate backyard, let’s hop on a call and discuss how we can assist you in creating a plan for your aging parents so that they can still live their “Happily EverAfter!”

Happily EverAfter Senior Living was birthed to better equip individuals and caregivers in understanding and managing the care of aging adults. We aim to accomplish this through education, resources, stories, caregiver support, and care management services. We honor and respect the lives that our Seniors have lived and we cherish the wisdom that they have and continue to contribute to our world. When we see our Seniors, we still identify with them as the head cheerleaders and star football players that they once were. Even with the challenges that aging often brings, they’ve worked hard and we believe that “Every Good Story, is Worthy of a Fairytale Ending.”
